Chicken Stir Fry
Here is a simple, but good, chicken stir fry recipe for a quick, easy and satisfying meal. Stir fries are perfect for a busy weeknight dinner and can be customized with your favorite vegetables and sauces.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups vegetables of your choice (we recommend bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat a pan or wok over high heat.
- Add the oil to the pan and let it heat up.
- Add the chicken, onion, and garlic to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Add the vegetables to the pan and continue to stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until they are tender.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce and cornstarch. Add the mixture to the pan and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Season the stir-fry with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the stir-fry hot.
