Vegetable Stir Fry

This easy stir fry recipe is a quick way to have a delicious meal on the table in no time. You can use any vegetables you like, such as carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, and mushrooms. Stir fries are a great way to use up extra vegetables you may have in the refrigerator. You can serve the stir fry vegetarian or add chicken, beef, pork, and other protein. Stir fries are both easy to cook and versatile.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound protein of your choice (chicken, beef, pork, tofu, etc.), sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cups chopped vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, mushrooms, etc.)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat and add the oil.
  2. Add the protein and cook until it is no longer pink. Remove from the protein from the pan and set aside.
  3. Add the vegetables and garlic to the pan and stir-fry until they are tender.
  4. Add the protein back to the pan and add the soy sauce (and optional oyster sauce).
  5. Stir so that the vegetables any protein are nicely coated with the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the stir-fry over rice or noodles.
  8. Enjoy your simple stir fry meal!
