Lasagna

This recipe is a classic Italian dish that is perfect for a hearty and satisfying meal. It may take a little bit longer to prepare, but it is worth the effort for the delicious results.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is browned. Add the tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses.
  4. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the lasagna noodles, beef mixture, and cheese mixture. Repeat the layers until the dish is full, ending with the cheese mixture on top.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve the lasagna topped with chopped parsley, if desired.
