Slow Cooker Chili

This recipe is perfect for a busy day when you want to come home to a warm and hearty meal. The slow cooker does all the work for you, and you can customize the recipe with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toppings of your choice (we recommend sour cream, cheese, and green onions)

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is browned.
  2. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook until they are tender.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker.
  4. Add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, and paprika to the slow cooker. Stir to combine. 5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  1. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Serve the chili with your desired toppings and enjoy!
