Slow Cooker Chili
This recipe is perfect for a busy day when you want to come home to a warm and hearty meal. The slow cooker does all the work for you, and you can customize the recipe with your favorite toppings.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Toppings of your choice (we recommend sour cream, cheese, and green onions)
Instructions:
- In a pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is browned.
- Add the onion and bell pepper and cook until they are tender.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker.
- Add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, and paprika to the slow cooker. Stir to combine. 5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the chili with your desired toppings and enjoy!
